Description

The No Skirts Allowed Adventure Race (NSAAR) is a women's only adventure race -- a team event that combines mountain biking (on road & trail), canoeing, trail running/hiking, orienteering/navigation, and surprise mystery events. Teams consist of two or three women. All team members must start and finish together, covering the entire course together. The actual distances, course layout and order of events will not be disclosed until race day.

• Note: For 2011 the beginner's clinic is open to everyone, female, male, young, old, etc. The clinic is included in the price of your race entry, or can be purchased separately for $15.00

• 8:00am Racer Check-In / Transition Area Opens
• 9:15am Pre-Race Meeting
• 9:30am NSAAR Adventure Race
• 4:00pm Race Cutoff

Divisions

Two and Three person adult team (18 and over) options available. Awards will be given to a minimum of the top three finishing teams.

Divisions:

• 2 Person Open, All Female
• 3 Person Open, All Female
• No SOLO racers

Fees:

• $70 per racer early registration
• $80 per racer late registration
• No race day registration

Race Disciplines could Include:

Trekking/Running: 5-10 miles

Cycling: 15-20 miles

Paddling: 1-4 miles

Special Challenges both mental and physical

Ropes Challenges: All gear and training will be provided.

Clinics will be provided for all racers and any woman interested in learning about adventure racing. The clincs will be at Eagle Creek West on Friday evening, Oct 21st, and will cover several topics including:
